His father expected him to become a doctor, but Darwin was only keen on exploring nature. He failed to study medicine, so his father arranged for him to become a pastor. At least he would have a stable career to feed him. But Charles was still fascinated by insects, fossils, and other things whiich led to his father's disappointment and shouted at him: You will shame the family!
